How do I know what size of storage space I need?

Make a list of the items you need to store. Check out our Space Estimator  and our Storage Tips to maximise your storage space. You can also call us on 9901-3200 or email us for a quote on size. Even better, come in and see us and we will show you a range of sizes to enable you to choose an appropriate sized storage space. Choosing the right size space will ensure you only pay for the storage space you need.

How much will a storage space cost?

The cost will depend on the size of the storage space. We have spaces from 1m³ to 60m³. Storage costs are based on the floor dimensions of the storage space.

What is the minimum term for storage?

One month is the minimum term for rent and you may rent a storage space on a month-to-month basis. In the event of an emergency or other special requirement, we can rent a storage space for less than a month.

How far in advance can I reserve a storage space?

We will reserve a storage space for you for 14 days without charge. If you wish to reserve a storage space for longer period of time, then we will require a 1 month’s holding deposit refundable on move in.

Do I need a lock?

You can purchase a lock from us as we have a variety of locks for sale. Alternatively, you may bring your own lock and key. We do not keep keys.

What do I do if I lose my keys?

You will need to remove the lock. We can cut locks upon completion of our Lock Break Authority form. More difficult locks will require a locksmith to cut.

What is your security like?

We have designated public areas and storer only areas. Access to the storer only areas are by PIN controlled security gates. Only you (or someone authorised by you) with the gate PIN and key to your lock can access your storage space. Most storage spaces have individual alarms. The buildings have 24/7 CCTV monitoring and recording, site graphics, and after hours back to base monitoring.

Do I need insurance for my stored items?

Your items are stored at your own risk. Insurance is recommended, but not mandatory. Check whether your household contents or business insurance policy extends to cover items in storage. If not, we can offer you insurance for your items in storage. See the Insurance Policy PDS.

When can I access my storage space?

You can access your storage space 7 days a week during our opening hours:

We are closed on major public holidays, such as Christmas Day and New Years Day.

Who has access to my storage space?

Only you (or anyone you have authorised) can access your storage space. Access is by gate PIN and will require the key to unlock the lock on your storage space.

How do I pay for my storage space?

You will need to pay monthly in advance from the date of move in. You may pay by cash, cheque, EFTPOS, direct debit, EFT, or credit card (Visa/Mastercard). Details of the different payment options are at the bottom of your invoice. We also offer the convenience of online payment by credit card from our website. Prepayments of 6 or 12 months attract a discount of 5% or 10%.

What if I need to change my storage space to a smaller or larger space?

You may transfer to another storage space at any time subject to availability. Any prepaid or unused rent can be applied to the new storage space.

What is the notice period for termination of storage?

7 days’ notice is required for termination. However, you can move out whenever you want. After the first month’s rent and subject to any special move in specials, we will refund the unused portion of your rent on move out.

What do I need to do when I move out?

When you have finished with the storage space, you must leave it completely empty, clean, and with your lock removed. We will continue to charge you rent until your space is empty and unlocked. If we find your space vacant and unlocked, we will assume you do not require the storage space and have already moved out.

How do I update or change my account or other information?

You can call us, email us, or use the Change of Details form to advise us of any updates or changes in the information you have previously provided to us.
